According to legal records scrutinized by the Los Angeles Times, Maynor laughed and boasted about his accomplishment, contending to be behind bars for only 20 to 25 years due to the prosecutor’s failure to file specific charges against him.

Maynor pleaded guilty to multiple offenses, including first-degree murder, attempted murder, illegally possessing a firearm, and two counts of robbery of an occupied dwelling in the first degree. 

Numerous reports indicate that the funeral and remembrance ceremony for philanthropist Jacqueline Avant, who met her end in her Beverly Hills home on December 1, 2021, has not yet been openly announced. 

Nevertheless, in honor of her demise, her family established the Jacqueline Avant Children and Family Center in South Los Angeles.
