Jeret Schroeder used to an Indy Racing League driver who competed during the 1997 season and 1999-2002 seasons. He started in 20 races throughout his career, including the 1999-2001 Indianapolis 500.
In addition to his racing career, Schroeder was involved in the “Indycar Experience” commercial program. He drove a two-seater Indycar to offer the general public a firsthand experience of what it’s like to race around the circuit at speeds of nearly 200 mph. However, his direct involvement in the sport ended there. Nowadays, he works in real estate and owns several eateries.
Schroeder worked for the IRL through the Toyota Atlantic and US Formula 2000 National Championship. His best finish in the IRL was a fourth-place finish at the Las Vegas Speedway the following year.
