Step 2 – In the search bar, type %temp%. This search item will take you to the temp folder. You can delete all the temp files from that folder. During this process, some files may not get deleted because of their usage. You can ignore those files and skip them.

This will create space in your laptop and eventually help you to speed up your Pc.

You may be wondering what startup programs are. Startup programs are the programs that run when you start your machine. This can be a common reason for your laptop slowing down. As much as possible, avoid opening too many tabs on your browser. Because many sites opened on your browser may get auto-refreshed and this can clearly hinder the speed of your machine. Also, RAM saves the tab whenever you open new ones. So, if you are running out of RAM, avoid opening too many tabs. If you are running out of RAM and you want to open multiple sites at once, you can bookmark the sites by clicking at the star icon on the upper right side of the site.  In this way, you can stop the background processes you don’t want to run on your machine.

5. Restart your laptop.

This may seem funny but restarting your machine actually works. By restarting your laptop, the processes hogged up in the background stops and it eases the laptop’s working eventually. So, try it once and see the results.

6. You may need to upgrade your RAM

This can be the main reason for the poor performance of your laptop. If you have cleaned your laptop and avoided opening multiple tabs, then you are running some huge file applications that need more RAM to work speedily on your PC.
